Femeston Conti 1mg
«
on:

Has anyone used this and NOT experienced any post meno/ hormone induced bleeding?
I ditched my 75 evorel patch and 100mg utrogestan, two weeks agog due to persistent bleeding. Recent Hysterocopy was clear, biopsy was clear and lining of womb was thin enough.
So, I’m trying a new regime.
I’m desperate not to bleed and for it to keep my mood stable.
Thanks

Thanks Peri
I think my mood is okay on it but tummy issues could be a problem.
Three months is a long time to feel rubbish.

I'm on Femiston -Conti.....for about five years. I was on elleste-duet but had to change when my pharmacy could no longer get them. I've had no period like bleeding and my mood remains stable on the Femiston....I also use Vagifem and estriol cream.

Thanks Jean,
The jury is still out re the femeston.
I’m not convinced it is enough Oestrogen.
I had a bleed last Sunday, which I’m hoping is because I added in extra lenzetto spray and tipped the Oestrogen progesterone balance, causing the bleed.

I’ve been on it for 15 years and get on with it very well. Lately had bleeding and had hysteroscopy today. May have to change for increased progesterone to stop bleeding. I also use vagifem and have in the past added estradot in too.

Thanks Jayneaddo,
Any idea why you bled? I am prone to this unfortunately.
What strength estradot did you use at the same time?
I quite like it, except i am not sure its enough oestrogen and I definitely need to use vagifem etc.
Thanks again.

Hi.
I’m on Femoston conti, for about 6 years now.
I’ve doubled up mine to 2mg per day. ( cleared it with doc first)
Ever since I did, I feel much better, no headaches, which were terrible when on only 1mg or 1 & half.
Also, that feeling of anxiety bubbling away in the back ground has gone too. So yeah, taking the extra bit has worked for me.

Thanks Jilly,
How long have you been taking 2mg for?
Has it helped alleviate all your symptoms now ?
Did you experience any bleeding after starting the 2mg?
Think this is what I’m going to do next.

Hi.
Been taking it about 6 months now. Maybe more.
Yes definitely made me feel better, always had migraines or anxiety, and now they’ve settled.
No, no bleeding.
