Hello ladies.
I have been at my science sites again and I have learned about a male doctor who has written an article in the British Medical Journal about Long COVID.
The doctor had a mild case of COVID but is still experiencing debilitating symptoms months later namely extreme fatigue, mood swings, fizzing sensations in his arms and legs, palpitations, a fast heart rate that goes on for hours and spells of dizziness.
I was struck by the similarity of his symptoms to those experienced by us menopausal women and I wonder if there is an hormonal aspect to the disease?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if research into Long COVID also helped with the understanding and treatment of the menopause.
Wishing you well ladies.
K.
Apparently the government are establishing clinics to treat Long COVID sufferers as there are about 60,000 people with this condition so far.
