Yep - see my post.  Also, an unknown won the Ladies race  :o although Van de Bruton thought she had got it because they hadn't realised that she had made the break and scarpered.

Track cycling is good to watch, I’ve really enjoyed it.  Lots of new young riders getting a chance to ride in the olympics but Its been a difficult time for them to get experience at the highest level because of covid.

Pro-racing begins across the UK soon.  I don't know if we will get to any starts/finishes, I need to check the routes.

This month's Brother UK Cycling Podcast is a Tour Series special.

Featuring interviews with organisers, teams and riders, including reigning British circuit race champion Joey Walker and former champion Rebecca Durrell, it's a great listen to ahead of Round One.

Since its inaugural edition in 2009, the Tour Series has become a cornerstone of the British racing calendar, helped in part by the ITV4 highlights shows from each round.

The event has also attracted Britain’s star riders: Olympic champions Tom Pidcock, Laura Kenny, Ed Clancy, Dani Rowe, Elinor Barker, Katie Archibald, Joanna Rowsell-Shand and Paralympic legend Dame Sarah Storey have all lit up the series.

Even S4C have let you down, fortunately we have Sky TV seems like its only on Quest and Eurosport.  Lots of people were asking on Twitter if it was in ITV but its not, I’m sure it must get a good audience even on ITV 4.

ITV4 is awful - mostly chat between the 'experts', as well as talking about the race but not showing what they were discussing!

Cav signed for Tour of Britain - 5-12 th September  :-*

Tour of Britain rolled out across Cornwall this morning  8) but the peloton has split.  No helicopter 🚁 due to mist, so we don't know why.  Yet.

Its near here tomorrow, weather forecast is good  :)

The local council has asked people not to go and watch at the start, same goes in Wednesday when its down west, I really don’t understand why standing watching the start of a cycle race is bad but sitting for a few hours watching football is ok  >:(
