 :'(   but I thought that exercise is good for us  :-\.  Wonder how much dieting contributes to heart problems in pro-sports people?

Vuelta a Valencia in Spain in February.  The race will be Chaves' return to the peloton after an eight-month absence due to Epstein Barr Virus. He last raced at the Giro d'Italia where he struggled through the second half of the race and barely made it to the finish.

That's what Cav had ?

Lots of tributes to Paul on various Twitter feeds.  A Service is held today at 11.00 a.m. in Uganda.  Apparently it was heart 'failure'. Went to bed and didn't wake up.

Out of cycling.   Who will step in?  It's going to be on the News shortly.

Team Sky was launched in January 2010 and has since amassed 322 victories, including eight Grand Tour successes.

"Team Sky will continue to race under a different name if a new backer is secured to provide funding from the beginning of 2020," said a Team Sky statement.

The important word here is 'if' ......... it may well even out finances across the pro-cycling world.

What a shame, Sky put much more money into the team than other sponsors so it may be difficult to find someone else willing to fund the team to the same level.  I should think the wages bill of team sky is huge  :o

I've never understood why sky funded a team but don't show cycling on their TVs channels  ???

Geraint won  8) in Wales and on BBC Sports Personality just now - we voted  :ola:  Now G, don't give the trophy to the people who run the shows, apparently he's had another presented to him today  ::)
