No idea - don't know if my friends even know they're stuck yet - they're staying in quite an out of the way place and haven't been online since the news broke.

Two of my friends are on holiday in Morocco - they've been insisting there is no need to panic, even though restaurants & hotels keep closing.  They're due to fly back in 3 days...don't know if they've heard yet, but all flights in & out of the country are cancelled.  BBC were interviewing one person who's been told she can't fly back till August...
Yes I heard that Morocco interview too. Thought I had misheard when they said about not flying back until August!

The UK is limiting flights in/out to essentials - what that means I can't fathom  ::)

Just heard from my friends this morning - they'd been without internet for a couple of days, so were a bit shocked to find out they are now likely to be stranded in Morocco for several months.  But they are quite relaxed about it - they've lots of experience of living abroad and are very adaptable, so if they end up there till the end of summer, I'm sure they'll be an asset to the local community!

I do think that the holiday adverts in the daily papers and TV should be pulled  >:(

I was thinking the same thing CLKD.  There are loads of adverts which are realy irrelevant at moment.  Maybe because they pay for them in a block.upfront.  I'm sure no one is going to lay out .ny new money to advertise holidays etc at the moment. X

Different distribution company then, ? outsourcing ? without communication YG.

Tell your sister it's a postponement not a cancellation.  It's spreading out the celebration ;-) after all it probably took weeks to set up the wedding so why not have weeks to celebrate?

I would have been coming back from my week's holiday today  :(

However, so far we are well and living in a lovely place having had amazing weather here, all the time we would have been away, so I'm not complaining! At least we have been having holiday  :sunny: :sunny: weather, although I am acutely aware of the wonderful people who are working so very hard in difficult circumstances to get us all through this...

I hope they all get a holiday when this is all over....

Jet2 have said they will start operating again from mid June.  Do they know something we don't?

Giving us Hope?  I don't fly so that won't concern me  ::)

I bought two magazines last week, both aimed at the UK Holiday Trade.  There may well be nowhere to stay eventually.  At least I have my camper van so can wild park ;-) and at least it's thus far  :sunny: in most regions most days.
