Any one cancelling plans or actively searching for bargains 

I want to go around the UK a lot more, mainly to Zoos. I do wonder if animal collections will be closed to the public if we have had colds/coughs?  as apes etc. are prone to human diseases.

Shame about FlyB biting the dust, apparently they were baled out in Jan..

Our main family holiday for summer was booked in November - Italian lakes - goodness knows what will happen now! My daughter keeps whittling about it!

I've been on Grand Princess, the ship with the virus off California, it was sailing from Southampton a few years ago. I remember they made lovely pizza in the atrium cafe 

I have a cruise to Italy booked in the summer, there is nothing I can do so I'm not worrying, if they change the itinerary I'll be disappointed but I can't image they are going to cancel and have empty ships bobbing around

The advice is to wait B4 cancelling.  If the UK Foreign Office says not to travel people will get their money back.  Apparently there are lots of deals to be had!

There are a group of kids from my DC's school off to China in three weeks time. Can't say i'd fancy it!

If I'd a cruise booked for say,next week,I'd be thinking long and hard about it,mines not until Xmas,so I'm hoping we?ll have had the all clear long before then.
I was actually going to meet Jillydoll next weekend but now not,as I don't want to stay at a hotel,you just don't know they?re cleaning standards or who was in the room before you

Apparently so, i'm not sure which part though. The school is saying that unless the govenment guidelines change, it's on.

I was browsing the BA site yesterday and did a price search for an EU trip later in the year. I noticed that BA appears to be offering a flexible ticket for no additional charge provided that I book it by March 16th. I imagine that this is to encourage us to risk a booking which we could change/postpone if , for example, we found that a family member had Corona and do we had to self isolate. Has anyone noticed this with any other airlines? I had turned to BA because Easyjet's deal for my dates was expensive and they didn't appear to have any special flexible offer. Given the drop in air bookings, it does seem that this could work to BA's advantage. I am going to look at it in a bit more detail in case there are any catches/loopholes.

I am going ahead with booking this trip because i had already paid a course deposit before this week and had told my friend that I would go. If international circumstances prevented me going, the school would let me change dates so I wouldn't lose much.

I'm not going to book any other overseas trip for a short while until I see what happens in the next month or so. I can't renew my insurance until I get my hysteroscopy result out of the way.

A group of kids going to China??  I wonder how many parents will actually let them go in three weeks time?

No one has dropped out yet, but i reckon that will change. My DD's friend is going, i'm just glad that i don't have to make that decision.

I am going to Spain in 4 weeks.  Visiting husbands family and then to our apartment near Alicante.  Really need this holiday so hope it is not cancelled.

I believe that the UK Foreign Office is updating details.  However, I can't see a problem if your visit is to an unaffected area?  Your relatives can keep you up to date.   Italy has had the most deaths, mostly men in their late 60s and in general, with other chronic health conditions.

It is a tough one. My heart would be telling me to let her go, but my head would be telling me the complete opposite. My DD is meant to be going to Berlin with the school in July, i'm just trying not to think about that yet.

Barnacle: last week the World Cycling Pro indoor races took part in Berlin with people flying in and out from around the World.  No masks.  They were still hugging and giving high 5s  .  I know that they are probably a more protected group of people but general hand wash hygiene should be essential when abroad anyway as should avoiding local water .

Im going to Lanzarote at Easter but staying with family, as far as we know  there's not been any cases there yet.  We're booked for August too, staying in a villa so  hopefully  will be ok.  Just the flights, but there still running at the moment.
