Yes my tinnitus started around the same time as 30 other odd symptoms.
I had a bad reaction to the Mirena coil and had it removed. Initially, I thought the Mirena had caused a hormonal imbalance and thought it would take 3 months or so to get to back to my normal balance. Unfortunately things got worse. After many, many doctors visits and compiling excel sheets of symptoms, I was told all my symptoms were "menopausal". Because of my age they could only offer me antidepressants (can't take combined pill because of migraine with aura), which I refused and asked to be referred to specialist menopause clinic and now feel so much better on my body identical hormones

I'm not that bothered about the ringing in my ears, I've got used to that now. However, I think it would be lovely to have clear "unblocked" ears/head...I feel as though I've dunked my head in a pot of treacle. Peri seems to have affected my eustachian tubes.
Funnily my hayfever/rhinitus started in my teens, improved in my 20's and 30's, disappeared when I was pregnant, then got worse in my 40's.
Hoping that my ears might like some more estrogen!!
