Hi Vicky,
So glad you have seen a consultant and they have an idea what the problem is. You must be so relieved. Have a rest and look after yourself - hope you can have a duvet day.xx

Thank you Machair
It's good to get it all checked out. I'll just accept I'm bleeding a bit and ignore it. The consultant did say I need oestrogen.
Hope you are okay. Are you waiting for results?
Xx

So glad you are ok.
Yes I am still waiting for results - almost 3 weeks now but they had them on Friday- just waiting for the consultant to contact me hopefully in the next few days.

Hi Machair
That is a long time for you to wait. Hope all is fine. Did you have a polyp removed?

How are you today Vicky?- I hope you are ok.x

Yes I did have a Polyp and also a Hysteroscopy for a 6mm lining as seen on scan which turned out to be too thin to biopsy.

Hi Machair
Feeling better in myself thanks. The bleeding has eased up a lot.
You have had similar to me with the polyp. Had two hysterscopies in the past few weeks, one in outpatients and one under GA. They are so painful aren't they.
Hope your results are good. Lovely talking to you thanks xx

You too Vicky it is so lovely to share all the worries. I had a GA for my procedure so had no pain so that was a relief, though I was very scared about the surgery even so.I am so sorry you had this done twice that must have been really horrible. You have been so brave- what a relief it is over for you. xx

How are you doing Vicky did they find an infection? Hope you are feeling a lot better. My results came back benign so I was relieved to say the least. xx

Hi Machair.
So pleased all fine for you and came back benign.
I am fine thanks. Just started bleeding again yesterday. I suppose I just have to accept it as scan came back okay.

Hi Machair
So pleased that your results came back and all is well. You must be so relieved after a long wait.

Hi Vicky
Hope all is okay with you and the bleeding will stop soon. It must be hormone related, bloody hormones! Xx

Hi QueenofReds
Hope you are doing okay.
Yes it must be hormone related, I haven't had periods for 7 years. I suppose if  I continue bleeding I will get another opinion from a private gynae, even though I've had all tests done, scans etc,I find it scary seeing blood   Just back from a run.
 Have a nice day.
Lovely to hear from you
Keep in touch. Best wishes

Hi Dolly
Thank you for your reply. I'll probably see a private menopausal specialist to find out what's going on.
I read in a new thread I think you have put on about low mood and antidepressants
I have tried citalopram in the past for a few days and couldn't take them, side effects in the beginning were bad.
When I see the menopausal specialist I will ask about testosterone, as my mood goes down sometimes
Hope you are okay and get something sorted.  Keel in touch
Love Vicky xx
