Hi Vicky
How are you today? I hope the bleeding has stopped.
I am okay. I decided mainly because I ran out of my HRT to give myself a break. It has been 3 weeks now and apart from mood swings I am coping. On the HRT I still had most of the symptoms that I had without it such as anxiety, insomnia, the only symptom that eased was aches and pains so I am hoping they don't return with a vengeance.

I hope you too are okay. I read your other post and just wanted to send a hug. I took citalapram a couple of years ago and it takes a few weeks to get into the system. It certainly helped me then.

I hope all of you lovely ladies have a wonderful Christmas.xx

Thanks for the hug Q of R, it means a lot  :) Really hoping the AD's work.  Not going to start until after Christmas as was told they could make you feel worse before better and so tearful today, don't want to be any worse at Christmas.  Know I'm going to be a bawling wreck in front of my family next week and I'm dreading it  :'(  Hope you have a lovely Christmas xx

Hi Hurdity  thank you. just light bleeding still off and on. It's been over two months now. In the four years I have been on HRT never had any bleeding. It's probably all related to the operation. Hope you are fine xx

Hi QueenofReds
I'm not too bad thanks just the light bleeding, not as bad as jt was. That's good you are having a break from HRT and you have felt okay.  I'm back on the patches. See how it all goes. Hope you have a nice Christmas xx

Hi Dolly. This is a difficult time for you with Christmas when you aren't feeling great. I'm always glad when its over. My mood goes up and down and the running helps. Some days I think I should try ADs again. Hope you get through Christmas okay xx

Hi
I can't see no end to a this. Feeling quite down about it all now.
The cramps and bleeding are back and stomach bloated. Feeling unwell.
I've had two scans in the past two months and the last one three weeks ago and all looks okay xx

Hi Vicky
I am so sorry you are bleeding again and having cramps. I have no answers for you but I just wanted to send a hug. Is it worth changing your HRT?  You also mentioned in a previous post that you were thinking of finding a private consultant, maybe that is what's needed. You must be frustrated and have been through a lot!
Try and rest if you can and I really hope you get some answers soon. I would ring the doctor after Xmas and list everything and say you need some answers.
Wishing you a happy Xmas. Keep in touch.
Xx

Just wondering how you are Vicky? Hope the bleeding has stopped now.

I went for my follow up with the consultant. I still have a slight yellow discharge which concerns him, though it has been intermittent for a while - it could be atrophy as he told me things look dry inside, but he wants to confirm I am not still perimenopausal so have had a full hormone blood panel done. This is because the Polyp I had is mostly seen in women who have not gone through the menopause and I have no atrophy symptoms other than possibly this yellowish discharge. He doesn't want to assume atrophy until he is satisfied all else is really normal.

I am 59 almost 60 and had a late menopause with my last proper bleed a year or so ago.

I also have to have a repeat scan in May to check the lining, and another appointment to see him after that.
Seems to be never ending and I am quite overwhelmed by it all, but it is good he is monitoring the situation. Has anyone else had yellowish spotting associated with atrophy? It is mostly just a yellowish hue on my pants at the end of the day but sometime it is more darkish yellow in a circle.

I am trying Replens to start with on my own accord- has anyone had good results using this and did it stop the discharge?

At least after the next appointment I should know more. He did say though that a hysteroscopy is only valid for 4 months so any further bleeding, especially if the bloods show post menopause, will have to be rechecked presumably with another op depending on the scan findings.
