Thank you Gracie,
Oh your poor sister-in-law, that story fills me with sadness and more anxiety, it is one of the reasons I elected to try to take full control of this situation but finances are being strained one way and the other and things are going awry as I've realised I need more oestrogen. ( I'm suffering from those awful flushes that feel like I imagine malaria/ queasy swarming heat, aching bones, jittery and panic. It seems darned ironic that the first time I've actually needed anything in the way of a prescription (aside from a dose of antibiotics ), I'm not able to get the one thing I need. I would be willing to pay the extra , to top up the cost, if it comes to that- at least we should be given that option. I bet it's a matter of a few pounds maximum more than the other HRToptions. I'm sure some people (on this godsend of a site)have said it's not more expensive but who knows. I feel like there must be a tide to turn. Are we the only ones in Scotland actually getting Oestrogel? A two women revolution is hardly going to cut the mustard and I am constantly exhausted at the moment with little energy let alone managing to change government health policies!
