Hope for the future ?
« on: August 04, 2019, 07:30:45 AM »

Hi Ladies , just saw this ref delaying the menopause

Women can halt menopause with 30-minute op that delays process by 20 years. The operation, which could take as little as 30 minutes, involves removing a piece of one of the ovaries and freezing it to -150C, as link below.

" ..... all of which are side effects of the menopause, according to the Sunday Times. " ........... anyone in particular on behalf of the paper then?  ::)

Also, ? have any grafts been re-sited yet ? :-\ .............. and who will pay for this, if it postpones menopausal symptoms the procedure should save the NHS monies overall?  Who will decide if a woman is 'suitable' or the right age for re-graft?  Will she have to wait until menopause symptoms creep up or will it be 'in case' ......

Will the Sunday Times follow this up over the years ........... interesting take on natural ageing.

It's only for women who have an early meno.

Yes it has been done and think on NHS which is fine by me as probably cost effective in the long run.
