Hi ladies

I started the Evorel 50 patch and 100mg of Utrogestan vaginally a week ago and am feeling quite nauseous in the morning and very tired.  I am 55 and haven't had a period for 2.5 years.

Since perimenopause started 10  years ago I have had bad anxiety on and off over the years, along with nightsweats, hot flushes and feeling down.

As some of you may know, I am also on 10mg of Prozac for the anxiety.

I just wanted to ask if starting the HRT would cause me to feel nauseous, tired and anxious after a week please? I am currently signed off work and feel like I'm going mad so would appreciate some advice. I don't like being on my own at the moment for some reason, which is odd as I used to love my own company. Can anyone else relate to this.

Thanks.

I get very tired on utro but I didn't on everel conti patches. I'd suggest using a sequi regime (12 days of 200mg utro per cycle). That way you'll know if it's the utro that's causing the problem.
My anxiety took 3 months to go.

Eat Girl Eat!  Hormones can burn up energy rapidly which can raise anxiety levels and the body gets hungry ....... little and often ;-)
