Thanks everyone for your replies - I am just catching up with these now. Yes it is so frustrating when you feel like you aren't getting enough support to get the dose right!!!!
Allie - if you don't mind me asking why wouldn't the meno clinic consider upping your dose?? No-one can be expected to function on three hours sleep - that is just the worst. Would you be open to asking for a short dose of sleeping tablets to try to get you back on an even keel??? I did this when I was at my lowest point in the HRT journey and it did make a big difference to just get some sleep - I felt better able to fight for the right treatment and care along with referral to a meno clinic - even though sleeping tabs are of course not a long term solution. And SNAP, I also do movement classes for seniors - I'm a Pilates teacher
Droopeydrawers - thanks for sharing your experience on the patches - the clinic did say that the dose could be tapering off. I guess I'm concerned about the sudden drop in levels for me though, that doesn't feel quite right since I had got my osteo levels up to a good level before starting the patches. Glad to hear you are feeling ok post HRT
TNM45689 - I am also under Chelsea and Westminster so will be interested to hear more of your story. I'm also following the post on implants - but am a total control freak and so worry about something I can't change or remove myself esp when it's been such a long journey to get the dosage right - plus they were discontinued in the UK for a few years and that makes me wonder why. Could just be NHS funding issues, but also can't seem to find any ringing endorsements for them in many places.....
Joaniepat - fingers crossed for your test results in April. I didn't know about the rubbing in the gel method. I will give that a try if I decide to ditch the patches and go back to gel.
PS I also changed my username today (this post was originally under "becca" - I've had an issue with bank card fraud so have had to change all my online account details. remembering new passwords with meno fog will be a challenge.
