I was on Tibolone for 3 months, no difference really, so was then changed on to utrogestan orally at night, and sandrena sachet gel in morning.
I was on this regime for 3 months, it really didn't agree with me. I had breakthrough bleeding and my mood was really down. The only up side was that I was sleeping better.
In October I was again changed as this wasn't helping. I was kept on sandrena gel, my progesterone was changed to Northisterone and I was prescribed Tostran, half a pump 3 times a week.
Sleep still ok, no breakthrough bleeding, libido not necessarily hugely better, but 'response' is better. I had been applying Tostran on smooth side of knees, but then reread that I should rub into groin area. I don't t know if it's a coincidence but I appear to have had a return of night sweats, which I never really suffered from and I find this really uncomfortable.
Do you think I need to up my sandrena? Or should I return to applying Tostran to inside knee area? Hair has also become more greasy since I moved the application area.
Any advice/experience welcome.
