That's the thing jillydoll, I don't want anything like that, I actually love my life & all this depression etc is ruining my days, I don't want to be zombified (is that a word)?my anxiety seems worse in the morning for whatever reason & tails off, some days it does, some days it doesn't.will give your suggestion go,can only try.
Does anyone know should I still be feeling sick even though I took my last sertraline on Saturday morning?

Did you stop eating due to the tablet?  If so, your body may be hungry rather than 'sick', but the gut produces the same effect with me  :'(

Only from Saturday dinner time, I was actually feeling ok until day 3,had my dinner, well some of it,then the nausea kicked in,stayed in bed all day Sunday & slept, hubby made me some tea & toast but that was it.dare not go on scales now as I know I will be under 9 stone 😔 was hungry a wee while ago so made myself an egg sandwich but couldn't eat it all,I'm hoping all this is just the after effects of tablet

Eating something is OK!  Don't rush!  You won't have lost much at all in the grand scheme, going for a pooh can take weight off which we replace  ;).  I had toast and pea-nut butter [protein] for lunch 'cos I wanted a pizza and we don't have any, nor a Pizza Hut close by and probably, I would have been 'off' the idea had we driven out  :-\

I use dried fruits and nuts as stop gaps  ;).  [protein, oils, sugars, yummy]

Sleeping is good.  Gives the body a rest!

You are welcome.  Crunchy or plain  ;D - which jogs my memory, in the 1970s we went to a health food shop with our own 1lb clean jars to be filled from a HUGE barrel: pea nut butter, sun flower oil, dates .............

Ooo not fussy, maybe some jam too yum yum.you were obviously much healthier than me,in the 70s we used to go to the local fish & chip shop & get a bag of batter for something like 2p 😂

;D. - there was a name for those ? 'scraps' ?   Occasionally though.   Like chocolate in those days, occasionally.

Home made jam?  I have raspberry or blackcurrant in the pantry ........... or local honey.

Not a great fan of S either.  I couldn't string a sentence together, couldn't sit in the bath - like a hen on a hot brick.  Went straight to sleep, surprisingly, and woke up vvv hot.  Thought I was going to die. Too scared to sleep after that.

Dr said I should have tried them for 2 weeks. Not possible with 3 children to run around.  ::)

My husband has had amytriptalene  with no effect.  There are others you can try.  There is a list ^ ^ in the section for non hrt treatments.

(used to get scraps at the chippy.  Also Scallops which were a slice of battered potato.  Nice  :) )

Yes I know, I will no doubt get a lecture for not sticking it out, they then seem to think you're really not all that bothered about getting better 🤬

Some GPs think that if patients don't give 'it' time ....... but side effects can be dire.

Hi daisie, I know,dr said you'll maybe feel worse before you get better,WORSE? I was in my bed for nearly two days & I'm still feeling nauseous, the whole point was to get rid of anxiety so my weight would stop falling but I haven't eaten in two days, did you have any side effects on amitryptiline?
hi jaypo  .yes but not like the ones i had on the ssri .amitriptyline didnt make me feel sick infact they gave me an apetite helped with sleep .but they do make you drowsy in the morning i have put weight on with them .but there is other ones to try .its all down to what you feel better on. i was ill when they put me on them i had a break down .
