Our eldest granddaughter is being christend on 15th September and this has been arranged for months.They were up at the weekend so we all met up for dinner on Saturday night when it was announced we had to be at the church at 2.30pm not 3.30pm as orginally advised as they were getting married first !!! and they were having the christening after.
We didn't see that one coming but are really excited.
I had commented to DH last weekend when we were with them in Bath and they said they were coming up this weekend to see the minister that I didn't realise you had to see the minister so many times to arrange a christening ! but didn't think anything more of it but now we now why.
They had bought the 💍 and wedding rings in Bath before we met up with them. The engagement ring is beautiful.
Needless to say Saturday night turned into a bit of a celebration DH wasn't feeling very well yesterday but I stopped drinking after a couples of G&Ts
Just got get something to wear now ! So exciting.
