Hi all,
Going through the usual nonsense with the "mentalpause" I've been on Femeston for a few months now and it's taken care of most of my symptoms and put me back on a sort of even keel.
However the one thing that's persisting is the hair loss. It's falling out in handfulls whenever I wash it, brush it, or sometimes even when I look at it funny! (or so it seems) I've always had really thick hair and although I've not suffered any bald patches yet (touch wood) my hair is pathetically thin and wispy.
I realise I'm very lucky in that most of my meno symptoms are being held at bay by the HRT and this seems a small thing to nitpick at but I just wondered if anyone had any ideas for mitigating the hair loss thing? Is there a vitamin deficiency linked, should I be taking any supplements that might help? Or is it just a case of 'suck it up buttercup'?
