We know a priest who lives in Rome and who would have gladly shown us around, but he's over in the UK while we're there, returning to Rome the day we leave!

Hi dulciana

Im hoping to go to Rome later in the year with my friend as we have both had our 60th birthday recently. So I would love to hear how you got on together with any hints or tips you may have.
Do let us know how you get on and have a lovely holiday.

Still waiting for my possible holiday next month to month to be authorised going to kick some ass today when I get into work or at least try 😉

We went to Rome a couple of years ago. One of the nicest Cities we've been to. Reasonably priced for a City too.

Just had a lovely Easter weekend in Amsterdam the weather was so kind to us,piddled down when on the coach then lovely and bright when doing our walking tours.loved the train station in Amsterdam had great shops and restaurants, the whole place was absolutely heaving with tourists.went to the cheese and clog tours and did canal cruise and then diamond factory tour but best was kaukenhof the bulb displays were just beautiful had nice restaurants and plenty going on outside, great play areas and petting farm for kiddies,we were exhausted as crammed so much in but was worth it,on the way home we stoped at a Belgium chocolate factory, very naughty but nice lol.

Hi CLKD thank you it was a lovely break with no incidents for a change for me lol.I probably would go back maybe on an overnighter to do the stuff I missed, there just wasn't enough hours in the day.Its one of the friendliest places I've been to and we did get our moneys worth no doubt.
As an aside you cannot buy hrt otc according to the pharmacist I spoke to,she said no hrt of any kind without a prescription.I didn't need anything but thought I'd ask as the chemist was right there in train station.
Sorry your visits are so heavy on your heart but that's good your making plans we all need to be able to do that xx
