Do you have any contact with D GrandD?  Birthday cards etc.?  Maybe a short note to your daughter saying that you hope that DGD doesn't miss her days with you too much and should her situation alter you would be happy to see her for a Grandma cuddle.  DD may have backed herself into a corner and with all these hormones flying around .........

A Masters!  I feel another thread coming on  ;D. Open University?
