Shortie, I'm wondering that too. I'm 50, but both the consultant and my GP are happy to keep me on it for another couple of years. I had a terrible week changing to HRT, probably the drop in estrogen from Femodene and I'm not sure I want to go through that again. I am thinking of moving back to the states and the Femodene pill isn't available there. I took cilest for a few years before Femodene, but started to get some bleeding, so I'm not sure how long it would be before a problem with Femodene popped up. I had no problems with the progesterone in either of these pills, or with Yasmin. I can't understand why they don't offer more choices of progesterone. I guess they just think if your going to taken one pill it may as well be a combo. Does the gel work better than oral estradiol? I had read that HRT is supposed to be superior to the pill.
