I think I'll go see doc this morning, not sure if it's anxiety causing me to feel so bad. But I feel really sick and lightheaded and my bump is sore and stinging I also have a niggling headache, I'm just scared she'll send me to hospital  :'(. Sorry for being such a moan but I'm exhaunted from worrying all the time

Thank you, I decided against running to doc again, I treated myself to a few extra hours in bed, I am determined to fight these horrid feelings and ride it out. My logical head is winning at the moment and telling me my head is fine, that if there was anything wrong it would have shown by now(it's been three weeks since fall). I am going to attempt an hour or two shopping with my daughter now and see how i get on, don't know if i'm being brave or stupid ;D, I'll check in later and let you know how I get on.

Probably both  ;D.  I had a hair follicle which was sore, the more I kept feeling to see if it had grown, the sorer it became: Himself gave it a good squeeze eventually  :sick02:

The best thing is distraction. It's worse to sit at home alone with the anxious thoughts running through your head.

Have you seen those things that are all the rage with kids? These:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/?iid=292090268680&&&adgroupid=33676502101&rlsatarget=pla-271883376915&abcId=893836&adtype=pla&merchantid=114898570&poi=&googleloc=9046497&device=c&campaignid=707291931&crdt=0&chn=ps

They were originally designed to help kids with Aspergers/ADHD/Autism. My two sons now have one and my eldest son loves it. He's got a short attention span but it has kept him entertained. I had a go myself and found myself a bit transfixed by it! You should give one a go. Also, have you tried wearing a rubber band on your wrist and flicking it when you feel anxious? That's supposed to distract the mind.

Hi all well I did it, I went shopping and guess what I didn't pass out or die :P. I'm exhausted but happy I did it, it's the little things isn't it. I even managed to buy myself some clothes as I saved €50 on doctor fees. I am learning to take one day at a time, still a bit anxious but I'll mark today down as a good day, My daughter is really understanding and kept reassuring me as we shopped,so  onwards and upwards and lets hope it continues. Sending good wishes to all

My BIL fell this time last year. He really hurt his face and had a black eye. The paramedics were called and checked him over and said he was fine. An hour later he started being sick and ended up in hospital. He was discharged the following morning. A few hours later he started being sick again. Back into hospital for an MRI where is was discovered he had had a slight bleed on the brain. He was kept in for two days.
I think what I'm trying to say is...if it was concussion then it wouldn't happen after three weeks. It's an immediate thing.
I fell just before Xmas and ended up with very bruised ribs and a very swollen wrist. The ribs took about eight weeks to feel normal. I couldn't breathe lying down...it was awful.

I think what's bothering you now is anxiety to be honest as if it was the bump to your head it would have caused problems long before now.

Hope you feel better soon.

Well that 'I'm getting better feeling' I had last night didn't last very long :'(. I feel really awful this morning.woke up feeling a bit jittery but tried shrug it off and dropped grandson to pre-school and  went to shops, I felt so dizzy and nauseous I panicked and couldn't get home quick enough.  Now I'm sitting here on my own sobbing and feeling what's the point in all this, it's too exhausting constantly fighting with my own head. I have to say for me the worst symptom is DIZZINESS, It really sends me into the worst panic ever, what did we do to deserve this horrible menopause :'( :'( :'(

That can be caused by tension or not eating properly!  When anxiety takes over I feel light headed .......

Make sure that you eat little and often.  Drink.  Housework can be good exercise with no pressure.

I have a nerve in my neck which if I turn quickly makes me feel 'dizzy', momentarily.  Enough to make me go 'oh!'.
