Yes the smell was mentioned on MM before.  I actually like the smell, to me it smells slightly perfumed

Day 28,  this will be my last post unless something drastically  changes as things are the same as last week. No aches, pains,  sweats, flushes etc.  I'm feeling 100% better physically and mentally.

So I hearby declare Tibolone a success and have gone down another route for the other changes I was hoping for.

Yay Blakeygray :congrats:

What were the other changes you were hoping for and what other route have you gone down and have they worked? - it would be helpful for other members to know - maybe another thread if it's not about Tibolone? Private Lives maybe  ::)

Hope you continue to feel well and stay well :)

Hi Blackeygray. Before you disappear  I have been taking tibolone for 2 days only yet. I would like to know if it helped with perimenopausal depression low mood feelings that I am currently going through all this and along with nausea and anxiety kind of feeling. Could you please guide through and shed some light

Hi Pam,  I can't comment as I'm not perimenopausal; I had a hysterectomy 14 yrs ago and have had menopausal symptoms ever since.
What I can say is that since taking Tibolone I no longer have mood swings, feel depressed, have aching joints or feel the nothingness that I have for the last couple of years.
I hope this helps and that Tibolone works for your symptoms too.

Did your hysterectomy 14 years ago affect your ovaries too ? Had you been on hrt all those years?
Sorry if you've already said x

Not then Annie but I suspect that they haven't been functioning for the least the last  couple of years.

I haven't been on anything,  I was told that I might start the Menopause early and that was that, left to my own devices.I wish I knew then what I know now.

After 13 years of sweats, chills,  flushes, anxiety, depression etc which took a terrible toll on my relationship,  I found myself here, on this forum. I wish I'd found you all sooner as it's been a godsend.

That's such a shame.  My ovaries played up soon after my hysterectomy and hrt gave me 13 excellent years til peri

Hi Annie reading your information you went through peri for 3 years. Did your symptoms differ much from each stage to another. Just interested in knowing that.

Blakeygrey, your success with Tibolone is very encouraging to me! Thank you for sharing. I'm researching thoroughly on this option ahead of seeing my Consultant again in January. I just can't seem to get consistency with transdermals at all (and very low levels on blood test too). I'm hoping this may be an option for me, as I'm running out of them now (apart from implants, which I'm not keen on).

I wish you all the very best and long may you feel good. xxx
