Yes and on TV as well - Jo Brand was cracking jokes about being on her menopause drug of choice - solpadeine plus - on Have I Got News For you a week or so ago.  All good - it's the unmentionability of it which causes us quite a few of the problems I think.
The same story is in the Sunday Telegraph.

lets hope the attention continues.  I find few women wanting to talk about it at all :( makes me quite cross when I can see symptoms on so many, but nobody wants to discuss it.

There's a bit in the Sunday Telegraph and apparently something about 'manopause' but I've not found it yet  ::)

We've kind of been brainwashed to think it's embarrassing - and yes, while some of the symptoms can be I guess, most of it isn't. I've had conversations with friends of same age or older who look astounded when I mention it - and I'm coming pretty late to peri so I can't believe it hasn't crossed their radar. We need an oldsters version of that online magazine for young women - it's got a great name, the Vagenda.

Just read this online (the Independent article).  About time.

Shame about the stupid readers comments at the end though.

Glad that the 3rd guy isn't my boss. My manager is generally sympathetic to ill health but I doubt i could talk to him about the menopause.

Thanks for the link.  Considering we have just had the new NICE guidelines, I'm surprised the article doesn't mention the benefits HRT (which most women can take) and how it can eradicate embarrassing symptoms.  I can only speak for myself and others may beg to differ but I don't really want to discuss the menopause at work, I just want to be rid of the symptoms.  Hopefully more women will join this forum to get some good support and advice.
