So, I finally got to visit GP (practice number 3 in as many years). I thought it went well. First of all she listened, happily prescribed the oestrogen cream for the VA, I was open to suggestions for the low mood, I said I would like to say I had mood swings but there is never an 'up' one. She was most surprised at the lack of help I had over the last few years and why none of the previous GP's had ever suggested peri-meno before as it was obvious to her.

Anyhoo, she prescribed me 'Sertraline' that I thought would be fantastic to help me feel better, until I looked it up on the search box here

As I have been having to drive to the hospital to visit daughter this week I had decided to start at teatime today, once DH is here till Sunday to drive me about. I am now a bit on the nervous side about this, so hope you will all agree to help, especially those who have been on those AD's or similar. I really need to give this a go, as I never want to feel as I did 10 days ago again. I will record the first couple of weeks here daily and see what you think, due to go back to GP then anyway, appointment already booked (as I am not good at doing that). Fingers crossed I can ride through any shaky bits.
