Thank you for your replies

I started estradot on 9th October so except for the 3 days of the evorel conti last week, that's 4 weeks today that I've been oestrogen only. By the 1st January it will be something like 12 weeks so I could start the Provera then, Christmas and birthdays will be over. Alternatively I'm wondering about maybe starting it at the end of November, so it's all done and dusted, and I'd have a trial run at what it will be like. I'll have to read up on other threads for typical doses other ladies have taken for this shorter cycle.
The maddening thing is that when I spoke to my GP about the long cycle, and if I think about it to myself at home, I feel fine about it; however as soon as I look on the Internet or read different threads on the forum I freak out that no one else does it and it could all be a terrible thing!
I don't know if being on oestrogen gives you any adverse symptoms as the womb lining builds up which gives you the feeling that you ought to take a progesterone?
Thank you

I've been following the threads about Utrogestan. I have family visiting at Christmas and I've asked them to bring me over some from the pharmacy. I don't know if this will be the right one for me as it's variable in who it suits just like the other progesterones but I thought it would be handy to have some in case I wanted to try it as an alternative. My GP has been brilliant but I can't keep asking for different types all the time!
