When I am in the utrogestan part of my cycle I am careful what I drink before going to bed, so that I can insert the urtogestan vaginally, in the hope of not needing to go for a wee after I have inserted the utro.
Anyway, no matter what, there are some times i still do need a wee especially if I am laid awake a long time in between putting in the utro and falling asleep.

I am concerned that if the utro has only been in my vagina 20mins that it will fall out when i go for a wee, so when I come back from my wee, I put another 100mg capsule in there, to make up for any that might have come out with my weee. My dose is 200mg

is this ok

Hi Dandelion,
I think I would see in the the toilet if it had fallen out. I dont think I would add in another capsule "just in case " unless I could see one in the toilet pan. Are you inserting the capsule high into the vagina?  I go for a wee in the night and have never had one fall out. Sometimes in the morning there is a little bit of semi dissolved capsule in the pan after a wee, but I see this as a good thing.

I agree with hayjude. If you put it in as far as possible then it will be out of the way or your urethra so it shouldn't fall out in the urine stream.

thanks. I have just been putting it about an inch but maybe I should put it higher.
I don't like touching my vagina, even though I insert applicator tampons at period time. I use a wet wipe to wipe my hand after inserting the capsule. I know I sound like a right weirdo. hahha

I think it needs to go as far as you can Dandelion. Of course you should always wash your hands thoroughly after inserting tampons even with an applicator - you don't sound like a weirdo - it's good hygiene practice!!

Hi Taz, I will insert it as high as it can go.
I wonder, you know those applicators you get with pessaries, I wonder if you can get one of those and use it to insert the capsule?

Thanks I will go in and ask today.
No wonder I hadn't been getting proper periods, if I wasn't shoving it up high enough.
If they can't provide me with an applicator, I will just shove them up as high as they can go.
Sometimes I have trouble finding the hole and I end up, rolling the capsule around my inner labia, but i get there eventually, lol.
Hahhahah the things us ladies have to do, but it's much easier than oral, because I always find that in the four hours after eating, before I take the capsule, I ended up getting hungry and cheating.

step 3 - open outer lips gently
step 4 - insert utrogestan as high up as is possible - 1" isn't enough!
step 5 - relax and breath
step 6 - lay quietly
