Oh I know a few people who make me sick...guess you didn't mean that though.
If I feel queasy in company then it's usually down to anxiety. It always affects my tummy.

It's a strange feeling isn't it? Mine comes from neck tension - have got a couple of old whiplash injuries plus the usual wear and tear arthritis in the neck.

Taz x

Maybe mine is tension related, definitely comes from the neck or head region

I get three different types of nausea:
1) The 'just been on a roundabout too long' type (which I also get with a migraine/hormones - linked to brain?)
2) The sudden  'just had some really shocking news' sort (from adrenal glands?)
3) The 'bugger, where's the nearest loo and which end will it come out of first ' type (definitely from the bowel region!).

If it's a tension issue, wonder if acupuncture could help?

 :-\ nope.  Fortunately  ;) - there, knew I was different  :-X

Ginger biscuits or cooking with fresh ginger will ease nausea.  DH adds grated ginger and garlic to most meals he prepares.

I have a kind of sudden 'woozy' head feeling which I think is connected to a nerve in the back of my neck, if I tilt it backwards in particular I get it, DH has a similar feeling sometimes.  It's gone as soon as it happens or I would be really freaked by it!

yep ..real queasy - put it down to acid build up in the stomach from anxiety, goes with the 'uncomfortably numb' feeling of non copingness... found alcohol not helpful, loving the ginger!

Menopause alters the taste buds as well as alcohol resistance - apparently  ::)
