Hi
Went to gp and said I thought I needed hrt. He suggested having a look on here then go and see him again in a few weeks.
So as someone with fibroids, had endometrial ablation last year, type 2 diabetic for 12 years, fluctuates between insulin last year and tablets again this year.under active thyroid, osteoarthritis arthritis in both knees all at the age of 49 I'm having a great time lol.
However turning point has been lots of hormone issues, pmt symptoms way worse than ever had before. Wanting to throw tin of peas at hubby in tesco, always warm or hot, 3 random bouts of nausea , mood swings and I'm not a moody person usually laid back - not now!
Assume I'm peri menopause not sure how long I have been though.
Just wondered what the best type of hrt would be for me to try. I fancy trying patches though as I take enough tablets as it is. And would prefer the continuous option to avoid periods due to fibroids and having the ablation to try and stop / reduce them .
