Looking for a bit of advice.
Today when I was at the supermarket my dear daughter decided to curl her hair. She has one of those professional hair wand thingys that heat up to silly temperatures.
Instead of doing it upstairs with the special stand it has she came down to the living room to watch TV and curl her hair at the same time.
SHE PUT IT ON MY CARPET and BURNED IT.
I now have about a four inch burn....brown, on a cream carpet. Can't clean it off, can't cover it otherwise we can't get in the door.
I have accidental damage cover so will call the insurance company tomorrow.
I have never claimed for years and that time was storm damage.
Do I have a claim, and if so how does it work.
