Hi all. Thanks for the tips and info

DG yes I do also think it might be tension but the only time I've had these type of wake up every day with a headache type phases has been in the lead up to a period over the last couple of years - in fact as they became more sporadic it was the only notice I got I might be coming on.
It's difficult when you have a history of headaches to tell what's going on to be honest> When I get a migraine I normally wake up with it early hours of the morning and throw up all day - none of those for a while thank goodness!
I try to always take a walk lunchtimes at work and we always sleep with a window open (even in depths of Winter) as the hubby runs hot

Nothing much else has changed much after the HRT so that's what makes me blame it first, but if course it could be complete coincidence. I'm prob still recovering after the hip op, easy to forget it was a major op. Because I'm a bit younger than the average for a replacement everyone seems to think you should be completely back to normal in no time!
GypsyRoseLee reassuring to know that yours went, I think I will plug on for another couple of weeks and see how it goes.
And lancashirelass I am thinking I may need to up the dose as flushes not under control yet, but prob too early to change things yet. Not sure how long everything should take to kick in??
Am really hoping I don't react too badly to the utrogestan when I start taking that, am exhausted enough as it is!
I spent getting on for a year thinking about it and researching before I finally plucked up courage to start the HRT so don't think I'm prepared to throw in the towel yet
