Began perimenopause last year, went from regularish to 50-60 day cycle, effectively skipping one. The period that arrived was painful and heavy but only lasted usual 5-7 days. However have been bleeding on and off for last 3 weeks so seems body is making up for lost time. Have had heavy and flooding for several days followed by nothing for a few then back to heavy. Having to get up several time in the night isnt helping energy levels but so far no pain, headaches, nausea.
Any advise for natural remedies please, have started to take some extra iron supplements, dont feel wiped out as some periods did before, work and family add to normal level of tiredness. From everything I have read practically everything is 'normal' during this time, but reading and experiencing are different things!
