Hi jgr, yes,yes and yes.have just been writing on my thread about this amonst other things.
Have akways had occadional palps and ectopics which ive largley ignored.episodes of tachy and things, apart from a minor issue that showed up that apparantly nothing to worry about, heart is good.
I have however just been through an episode which lasted over a month of ectopics so bad everything set them off, like lying down on my left hand side, hoovering stairs, walking anywhere..bending down.. Etc etc.
It is extremely disconcerting i know. My doctor tells me its all absaloutely fine haha like to see them living in my body!
Anyway, as ive stated on my thread i have treated myself by drastically upping my intake of heart friendly nutrients such as magnesium pottasdium calcium, iron etc and after a very short period of time doing this (within a week) they subsided.i also came off the hrt patch i was on as i think for me it was way too strong being in peri and still having regular periods.
I also have slightly low blood pressure so maybe that doesnt help palp wise.
I think that the palps probably feel alot more distressing than they actually are if you know what i mean?i guess really they are no more dangerous than an eye twitch, but anything to do with the heart can make us panic cant it.. Hope they subside for you soon. X
