I don't know if this makes sense, but I think you will reach a peace with yourself even if you are not able to treat your symptoms? For me, I needed a doctor to believe in me and also to know that others had also experienced the odd '..... And what surprises will today throw up?' horrid  nature of my symptoms .. and lived to tell the story. Initially each new symptom sent me to DrGoogle and in doing so, increased my anxiety ten fold. Now, I know it's 'normal' to have weird symptoms and this thought (generally) helps me to be at peace with myself.

Having another heavy (for me) period. Bang on time, the 25 day cycle I've had for a couple of years. Horrible sore breasts, water retention and weight gain, basically major PNT.  I'm pretty sure this is my progesterone being really low and esteogen high, the stage in perimenopause where this happens. Not sure if ovulating. Private GP had reassured me this type of bleeding (thinner and coming all at once) is OK and is usually low progesterone.

Just updating incase it helps anyone relate in the future. I wonder if this pattern will continue? ;)
