Menopause is natural. What you describe sounds 'within normal limits'. However, you are young to be starting all this and HRT protects bones and heart. Of course, osteoporosis and heart disease are 'natural' too but can be avoided.
You can only know if you are anaemic by blood tests. Heavy bleeding does not always cause anaemic, I had clotting etc. through-out my menstrual 'life' and was never anaemic, even though I was anorexic from age 5 until ……….. my periods eventually faded away 'phew' without my realising it due to Life getting in the way, they became more and more apart and then stopped

.
Browse round. You may find as you go through this journey that 'natural' is so unpleasant that you will need to resort to HRT. Once you are more informed you will find that HRT is exactly what is says on the tin : hormone *replacement* therapy

- if you read threads by Member Hurdity and others who have a good awareness of the chemistry etc. you will get lots of information. Menopause is the end of periods, usually judged when a lady hasn't bled for more than a year ……. however

Other symptoms can be unbearable, treatable, dealt with. I have been lucky so far, the hardest issue being vaginal atrophy which felt like razor blades up there. No way could I have continued without treatment! [we have a few threads on VA too
