Witch hazel is good for the oily bits if you want to use something natural.

I have Bare Minerals set of powder foundations. They are brilliant!  Cost me a fair bit but last for ages.  Mind you if I wore make up every day they'd probably be finished by now.  ;D

I have also recently purchased Real techniques brushes. They get really good reviews, not tried them yet.

Try new things called Micellar Cleansing Waters.

Very very gentle and use on cotton pads, and it removes makeup, and can be used as a toner after other regimes or just on their own.

Thoroughly recommend the one by Garnier, in all and supermarkets and less than £5.

My two teenage daughters and I are all converts.

I also squirt it directly into cleansing wipe packet to get the wipes very moist then use them as a 'flannel' to get rid of all makeup before I use a face wash with water ( Clean and Clear brand) but my one daughter only uses the Micellar Water and her skin has never been better and she uses loads of makeup.

Micellar waters- try them !  x

Just had a look as never heard of this, but it sounds great. Tesco sell Garnier Micellar Cleansing Wipes £3.26 so I may place them on my next order! Thanks hanging.on.in.there!

Great purplenanny, well worth a try.
The bottled Micellar water lasts months and months of daily use, so even better value than the wipes potentially ?

I can second that, Micellar waters are really good. You can use it to remove eye make up too.

Well yes but not quite the same CLKD.

It's a cleanser and toner.....water just doesn't do that.
