 ;D

We have lots of cards in our attic if we could be bothered to climb in and choose one - we were 2-gether for 5 years before we married  ::)

Today we went FISHING  8)

Umm fishing....yep really romantic... ;D

Had our meal which was lovely.

They have cards in shops CLKD, saves climbing up all those stairs and searching in the dark.

I have to say if a little effort was not shown then I would be a little bit miffed.

We don't do anything!  Neither of us - and neither expects. It passes us by and has done for years. We probably never have done - I can't remember us ever celebrating it as we didn't really do that sort of thing. Might have made a card once or twice in the early years?? Mind you we've been together for 38 years.

I got a kiss with my morning tea though! I'm usually asleep and groaning and can barely say anything when it arrives!

Have a great evening those who are celebrating though! We had left over pheasant stew - and I won't go into it here how we came to have this pheasant - not on this thread anyway  ;D

Not road kill no... er my husband shot it with an air rifle in the garden because it was eating all our vegetables and the shoot was supposed to have finished them all off - they were being bred nearby and now they're not feeding them any more so the ones left are prowling about looking for food. That way we get free meat and veg!! He bought the air rifle to shoot the rats which were eating the bird food and burrowing under our garage. We didn't eat them though  ;D

Glad your meal was good honeybun  :)

OH did give me a Valentine card once...
Inside, the greeting was "that's another 14p that you owe me"
That was before he became Mr Limpy........
Haven't had a card off him since.
Oh, once he presented me with some lovely flowers (acquired from a table setting at a lunch where he was giving a talk)
He did play a blinder this morning though.

We have light in our attic  ;).  We can choose our cards but haven't bothered - they are there if we want to look at them  :D

Well done Limpy  ;) ………  we exchanged a peck on the cheek before breakfast  ;)

It was my idea of a fishing trip, I have to say it has been one of the best 14 Feb. I've ever had: knowing that DH was getting fresh air doing something he loves enabling me to laze in the camper and read the papers; add to that, he caught lots of trout  ;)

Did U - celebrate.  I had a yard broom as. my gift  ;D.  At least that's what we told the store keeper when we were buying it .  "To go with the Hoover he gave U for C.mas then?" was the prompt reply

Me. Me. Me - DH gave me flowers and chocolates on Friday  ;D.  At least the broom didn't have a red ribbon around it  :D

In our loft is a trunk: 8ft x 3ft.  Probably half filled with Valentines' from 1971.
