sorry if this is one too many but one last programme I wonder if anyone else is watching is Remember Me, the ghost story with Michael Palin. It started last Sunday. Any takers? what are your first impressions?

Oh yes, I enjoyed it. I thought it was a tempting taster of creepy things to come.

I'm really looking forward to episode two. I think they will move it forward quite quickly this week as its only a three parter.

I won't watch anything that might increase my bad dream rate, even though I adore Mr Palin  :-*

I was wondering whether to start a thread about that too Babyjane but thought I might get branded a telly addict  :) - it is properly spooky like old fashioned ghost stories used to be. I think I read that it was written, produced or directed by the same team that used to do the BBC Christmas night ghost stories years ago. It is certainly very atmospheric and I am looking forward to tomorrow nights episode.

I've just checked in the paper and it says it is evocative of the ghost stories of MR James adapted by the BBC in the Ghost Stories for Christmas dramas in the early 70's, I remember they really used to scare me when I was a teenager.

I watched it last week between fingers ;D can't watch it this week as hubby is claiming Killimanjaro and I am on my own suffer with enough bad dreams as it is. Dogs snuggled up in bed next to me now. :-X

Hubby recorded it & I watched it yesterday. Really good, though I thrive on this sort of drama/film. Never been really scared by this sort of thing, yet. Time will tell.

My husband and I used to go to Scarborough a lot to visit the Stephen Joseph theatre when Alan Ayckbourn used to present his new plays there, it brought back a lot of memories.

That was properly scary tonight though wasn't it  :-\
