Coming back as a man,!
« on: November 14, 2014, 02:04:59 PM »

I'm 63 at Christmas, and not happy!!  >:( I remember puberty being a time of confusion, misery and feeling like an oddity. Early periods were painful and distressing! PMT was a mixture of sore and heavy breasts, and tearfulness! Childbirth was difficult, bordering on pre-eclampsia! In my 30!s and 4o's I required medical treatment for exceptionally heavy prolonged periods and fibroids....and since the age of 53 I've been experiencing all the horrors of peri and full menopause!!! OMG, if there is any justice in this world, next time around I want to be a man!!! ::)

Well Juju, I'm OK with my size (UK) 5 feet, but I wasn't with my 36FF boobs! Feet you have to accept, boobs you can do something about, which is why I've been a very happy size 36D for the last 9 years!!! 😉

I think I am ok on the whole with being a woman. Having known my husband since we were 15 I have seen his life journey and it hasn't been plain sailing all the way for him.

However I would like to try out my adult life again but with the knowledge I have now and see how differently it could turn out.  Now that could be interesting.

Me too Lynjane, I did something about my boobs eight years ago, after the ballooned after a hysterectomy.

Now they match my sixe 4 feet and are a light airy 36 A/B. and have not budged in weight or size ever since.

Wouldn't like to come back as a man though, they have a lot to put up with too.

Like babyjane has said I have often thought of starting again but with the foresight I have now, there would be lots of things I would change mostly to do with men!

Mum was so right about a lot of things.

I have 7 1/2 AA feet, well one is and the other smaller, so I can't walk into a normal shoe shop. I have to buy online, which proves to be incredibly expensive. My boobs have shrunk, but I suspect I shall put weight back on if I have my gall bladder removed. They were 34f, but are probably 34d now.  I have no problem with my feet or boobs, just in the great difficulty in buying shoes and bras that fit and that I actually like.

I wonder how my life would have turned out had I had self belief, rather than absorbing the message that I wasn't capable of very much. Despite that I have achieved a lot. No my mum wasn't right. Health wise? Well I think men have their own challenges. And despite my own health challenges, life is pretty good. Having a better attitude and support makes a huge difference.

My mum told me not to wear my heart on my sleeve, not to give yourself a 100% to any man and keep some back for yourself.

I have not been too good in taking that advise and it has cause difficulties at times.
