Jo Malone bath oils are heaven! I love the lime basil and mandarin one.

Jo Malone is only sold through the Jo Malone shops, but you can buy it online. It's a luxury brand, so not cheap - but worth every penny.  :)

Otherwise, how about something like Neal' s Yard, which you can buy in places like Waitrose.

You are a Mine of info, thank you!  Will have a look-see for both my friend and Mum's gifts.

Didn't realise shower gels can cause problems 'below'...is soap ok?  Having finally found something that doesn't make my psoriasis flare up, I don't want to have to stop using it because it causes problems elsewhere...

The ONLY thing you should use 'below' is warm water.

Ask my late Granny  ;) ……….. it was all they had?  A couple of tablespoon fulls in a jug of warmed water, stirred until dissolved.  Then tipped under the taps as you run your bath.  Mustard the same.  Won't do any harm.

If one has bubbles etc. in the bath then the act of washing thoroughly after a good soak will rinse away any residue.  I've NEVER had problems except with those 'cubes' which caused intense itching down there  ::)

If you have VA then the only thing you should have in your bath is hot water and you, in fact a shower is much better.

Bubbles are a big no no.
