Swimming is fine as long as the chlorine does not make your bits sore. Put the Vagifem in at night and all will be good.

Have a lovely holiday.

Yes swimming is fine - although reading your post it sounds as if you want to do the two things together - inserting the vagifem while swimming..... it just made me giggle!

Hi, thank you all, i will give it a try the second week,  the salt in the med sea was really painful a couple of years ago.. just a thought has anyone tried a great lube they would recommend just in case swimming makes me sore.. i feel like i ought to take a case full of vaginal meds, lol... i suppose vagifem travels ok in your suitcase, if they lost my case can you imagine. lol..  just started the 14 day reload so should take me over the first week while im away lol.  yep sorry about the messages being confusing, mmm swimming while inserting vagifem, lol..  im generally a bit of a ditz lol.. ...  Im a little anxious about going away with the burning throbbing  area lol..  my other half feeling really well and planning the Spain  holiday events, day trip to Gibraltar etc..

Do you have to put the preparation in the hold then?  Take your prescription with you in case your luggage goes elsewhere  :-\

You could put Vaseline gel around the outer 'bits' or how about wearing a pad to help protect down there?  I'm sure 'always' will have something suitable in their range  ::)

I use vaseline before swimming. I also read your post as putting in a vagifem while swimming  ;D
The night before should be fine.

Hello
I'm on Vagifem & took 2 applicators to Greece with me & used them at night ( 2 times in the week) before I went to bed & was fine the next day with no problems when I went swimming.
It was funny when we went through security at the airport as I put all my medication in the tray (including the Vagifem) & it fell on the floor & everyone looked!!! I was a bit embarrassed but realised that probably it was only us ladies in the know that would guess what the applicator held! ;D

We were watching a programme about Drake earlier.  We got to wondering how many people across the UK can actually swim, probably as many as could do when boys were frog marched [there's an expression but can't remember  ::)] to the Cities and made to go on board to work.  {Press Ganged ? } .........

I learnt to swim when I was 8.  In a pool under suprvisition.  After I swam in rivers, ponds, lakes and Lake Lugano - but never in the sea, yucky taste  :-X ........

So even though we live on an Island not many in proportion can probably swim?  I wonder ........

I always shower straight after swimming to get rid of the chlorine and then use a YES moisturiser.  I use vagifem every day but if you don't and you've swam a lot I'd use an extra one after swimming. The same applies for hot tubs and jacuzzi. However, I don't have this problem in the sea so it's the chlorine, shame as I used  to love going swimming.

I'm not sure on the adult population but all primary schools have compulsory swimming lessons on the curriculum either in KS1 or KS2.
