Thanks everyone... I am waiting to see a chiropodist, but a bleach pen sounds a good idea, where do you get them from?

Bleach  :o ………. how about boiling water, cooling it, pouring it into a bowl and adding lots of salt: sit wriggling toes for a few hours.  Maybe a skin scrape to see exactly what is causing the infection, i.e. yeast ……… there is a good powder: Mycil : which we used for fungal infections between the toes.

When I had my horse if they got thrush in there hooves, we would either use hydrogen peroxide or bleach to kill said infection always  worked, some people also used iodine.

There is also a spray sold for horses, cats, dogs for thrush etc and one of the ingredients is bleach, smells like a swimming pool,  my horsey friends use it on themselves also, as lots of medication is the same wether animal or human.

The bleach pens are sold over here in the US in the laundry detergent aisle at the supermarket..Tide makes them and a number of others too.
