He did: apparently in a fall the foot pedal cut his leg so stitches were required. He fell again this afternoon but came in 20th. Good racing over-all all day! Now they have a holiday so muscles can be healed - he usually heads for the Pyrennes to go cycling with Cal
Now watching the Tour
- the mountain scenery is lovely - it's like being on holiday and having a history lesson without leaving the house

I love mens' golf. At least there is sunshine up there today! Might catch the F1 hi-lights later, did you see Lewis' 140mph accident yesterday
- brake failure apparently …….

Well it was on but I was not exactly watching
....I rarely do but after 30 years of being force fed F1 I have absorbed more information than I ever really need to know.
I have been known to spout facts that come from nowhere

Pub quiz would be good. Not sure how the info has landed in my brain but it's there. Impresses my hubby no end.
Sad to hear about the great Bob Torrance passing away. We knew him years ago. Golfers are wearing black ribbons for him.

I thought that the black ribbons were for the downed aircraft ………..
Bob must have reached a ripe old age?

Black ribbons are in memory of Bob Torrance. I fell asleep during Grand Prix, just as well I'm not heading to Spa next month with hubby
Golf now on. I don't mind the golf, having come from family who all golfed but me.
