Goodness, really Hasty?? - you simply must see it. It's an absolutely wonderful film with a very powerful, true human story, not to mention the memorable songs that are still on everybody's lips half a century later.
Haven't seen Sound of Music in ages. I also love Mama Mia, Dirty Dancing & Flashdance. On Xmas Eve always watch Love Actually
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.Now that was a treat for the eyes Robert Redford and Paul Newman.I mean what's not to like
I have watched The Go Between countless times and never tire of it. It was filmed locally in the 1970s and I knew a lot of the extras in the film. That summer My friend and I got a summer job working as chambermaids in the hotel where many of the actors stayed. Julie Christie, Alan Bates, Terence Stamp - great cast. I don't know if anybody remembers the series When The Boat Comes In. They have been repeating it on the Drama Channel and it is just as good second time around. That was also 1970s.
