Nothing, we have been out for posh afternoon tea (a birthday treat) and feel stuffed to the gills.  Will probably just have a large salad for supper.

Oh that's such a treat BJ, haven't done that in a long time. x

Sparkle, give it a try, it could either make you glow in the dark or put hairs on your chest! Bet it still tastes good though! x

Oh yes Glowing is a great description.

I remember many years ago when I had a summer job in ICI. I told an older woman that I was sweating like a *** . She told me

Dear.....only horses sweat....ladies glisten. I told her....I was then glistening like a ***

I was at a charity afternoon tea last month. It was not cheap and was at a very posh hotel.... Satisfying it was not and I hadn't had any lunch and was starving....I left starving too.

I have to be honest Mrs B it was not my cup of tea (pun intended).  The food was rich and sugar laden and the tea was not a patch on Yorkshire  ::).  I have very plain tastes and I ended up feeling a little  :sick02: The hotel was very posh and I found the waiters sycophantic and creepy.

However the afternoon was a gift from a friend so I will keep  :-X IRL

My DIL loves going out for afternoon tea. She keeps a diary & gives marks out of 10.
