Simple but tasty, old Good Housekeeping recipe tonight, Stoved Chicken with shredded cabbage, petit pois and sweet corn. I also roasted a pineapple, hubby will have with creme fraiche, me without  :ange:

CLKD, try this recipe for the pineapple.

http://www.raymondblanc.com/recipes/roasted-pineapple/

I don't do the dried pineapple garnish and don't carve the pineapple like the maestro but it tastes fab. If I've no time to play, I just make a syrup and bake it in that.

I love Cornish pasties. There's a wonderful pasty maker on The Lizard in Cornwall called Annies. It's a little shop at the back of a regular little house that sells them by the thousand. Oooh they're good. We buy them and take them down to the cliff tops at Kynance, couldn't be bettered!

Nought! Big mixed salad with smoked trout fillets, and goats chess and basil focaccia. No washing up either!  :hapij:

After a long weekend of feeding the five thousand, easy peasy tonight!

Salmon with sweet chilli and ginger dressing, lemon rice, mange tout, sugar snaps and long stem broccoli. Left over poached pears and mascapone cream.
