Hi kaz_147
Just wanted to say

oops pressed send by mistake....
So sorry to hear you are also having premature meno. My first thoughts on your HRT is that it is a very low dose for someone of your age who would normally have cycled through very high levels of oestrogen monthly. Also this one (Kliofem) gives an artifical progestogen (norethisterone) on a continuous basis which may not make you feel brilliant. How long is it since your last period and are you definitely post-menopausal now? Also are you under a specialist gynae?
I hope you don't mind all the questions but just wondering.
Personally I would look into going back onto a cycle unless there is a medical reason why not ie so that you would have monthly bleed. Also I would go for a separate oestrogen and progesterone so you can maybe tweak the levels to suit you? Low oestrogen can cause low mood and depression. The oestrogen could be taken in tablet form ( as you are doing now - or gel or patch - but you might not fancy this route?
The only problem is with high levels of oestrogen you also need high levels of progesterone. There is one that is bio-identical with our own progesterone which may not have quite such a depressive effect ( if you are not progesterone intolerant) and that is micronised progesterone marketed as Utrogestan.
Also if you have an early meno maybe your tesosterone levels have also declined - which can contribute to low mood - I think it would be important for you to be under the care of a specilaist gynae if possible and who may do some blood tests (these are more reliable post-meno - especially if on several occasions) especially re teststerone. However this is often only prescribed to women off label now by specialists.
Hope this helps
