..... and survived  ;D.  F in L was in Prisoner of War camp under the 'care' of the Japs., those that ate the grubs in the rice survived ....... I try to think that if the inhabitants are OK with eating bugs, then I ought to be ...........  and of course if I needed to get out of a situation, reminds me of those passengers that were stuck in the Andes with only dead fellows around them  :-\

The bugs would need tarting up with lots of garlic and ginger  ;)

Watching 'The Good life' - maybe appropriate for these times. Everyone in it looks so slim and healthy.

Margots khaftan - interesting !;)

The old ones are funnier than sitcoms these days, apart from Miranda and Father Ted! ;D

Anyone watch WPC 56?

OM goodness did I squirm at the sexism.  Did men really behave like that to their workmates and girlfriends.

I do remember Corrie tackling rape within marriage at one point, mens' rights to have sex with their wives etc.

If this was an old-type story then yep, men did - and still do in some High-flying male dominated industries - treat their female work colleagues as below the salt.  >:(.

The programme this morning about Passover.  With Giles Cohen?  Quite interesting.   I understand little about Jewish culture and would never be tidy or organised enough to remember to  use different crockery and cutlery for different food stuffs  ::).  Even within those around the table: Babylon and Askanarzi (sp) Jews, the food culture was totally different.

Embarrassing bodies?  The man with half a face missing due to cancer and treatment, has had it rebuilt.  Using dental technology, similar to that when fixing implants.  As well as a 'mask' which has been snapped into place with magnet therapy.  I am truly humbled  :'(

Yes I saw him on the previous programme as well.  It is amazing what they can do.  Shame we didnt see what happened to the woman with the rectocele  >:(

Episode 5 of Broadchurch.  Partner reckons he knows who "did it".  He says he will seal the answer in an envelope which I can open after the last episode.  He wont tell me as it will spoil it for me :)

How lovely to put the answer in a sealed envelope - but if he's wrong  ;D

I suspect that the woman with the rectocele is either undergoing further treatment or has been given up on  ???

Did anybody see The Village on Sun night.  I was disappointed, after all the hyping up they gave it.

I enjoyed it. However didn't catch any trailers beforehand and then read a lot of negative comments in response to a review in the Telegraph which made me wonder whether I had been watching the same programme as everyone else!

I'm finding Broadchurch so-o-o-o-o slow, but depending on the end it might be one of those that seem really good after it's finished.

I am enjoying Foyle's War, and I am looking forward next Sunday to the new series of "Once Upon a Time"  and the new SF series "Defiance"
