Victoria Wood's journey to find out our daily cuppa?  Really interesting.  But we haven't been told exactly what the camillea leaf contains ....... to make it 'addictive' .......

I caught the second part of that, when she was in India onwards.  I am recording tonight.

The camillea leaf?  Is that what ordinary tea is made of?

Yep.  Found in China and the trade of it caused the opium wars.

I think most of the tea we drink is graded and mixed.  I will be looking up this every interesting bush to see it's properties - look out the single plant in our garden  >:( which failed to flower last year  ::)

Gosh tea-making is so involved!  How we get those camillea leaves into our pot or bag is along journey!

Our TV won't get BGT either CKLD!!!

watched 'Endeavour' last night - loved it!  Great fun spotting allusions to 'Morse' episodes.

Maureen Lipman last night?  I was torn between continuing with the pet awards and turning over the Channel.  I could really feel for the guy who had arrived at a scene of devasataion only to have another man waving a traumatically amputated limb at him  >:( - personally I would have wanted to ram it in his face, what *was* the man thinking of ......... now the guy is severely traumatised and keeps replaying the event over and over  :'(

WE are not supposed to see awful things, we expect to see Life as 'within normal limits', hence the need to look at anyone disabled, wearing strange clothing/hair/make up .......... so traumatic events stick  :(

As I didn't see the programme I can only speculate that maybe the man waving the limb around was in a state of shock himself?
