Did anyone see (Larkrise to) The Paradise?!  on BBC1 last night.
Seems like nearly the whole cast of Larkrise is in it! Poor old meno brain here is going to struggle with them all having new identities! 

It takes me a while to get into a new series but this one looks like it might be good.

I watched Paradise and was quite disappointed.  Thought the outside "sets" were awful and didn't look at all realistic.   The last 10 mins I had to really struggle to stay awake.

Now "Leaving" that kept me on the edge of my chair!  I really enjoyed that but was a tad disappointed with the ending - at least nobody died.  I thought Julie was going to either hurl herself off his balcony or walk in front of a car.

I never watched Larkrise and my husband wanted me to watch The Paradise but i did not make it past 20 minutes. Costume dramas are so not my thing at all (apart from Downton Abbey funnily enough)

I have just watched Piers Morgan's interview with Denise Welch on catch up? Did anyone else watch this interview. I don't particularly like her but i respect the way she has turned her life around. Do you think she uses HRT, she has good skin, hair and energy (and a fiancee 14 years her junior)

Like you I don't particularly like her. Just want to see it because she's had a bad time.

Oh i didn't expect anyone to know the answer, i was just thinking aloud as she look good now and i look pale and tired and washed out

I think that her look is down to a skilled make-up artist and hairdresser. Also, remember that she is an actress and the energy which comes across can be part of the "role" at the time if you know what I mean. I wouldn't mind looking like her though!

I think that she is on HRT - wasn't it mentioned before in the article about her depression from the Mail?

Anyone else like Mrs Brown's Boys? I LOVE it.
It was the last of the repeats last night. I've recorded them all and kept them to watch again. 
Apparently the BBC have comissioned a third series, so that's something to look forward to.
