Microwaveable macaroni cheese. No effort and safer than OH's cooking.
Might push the boat out and throw in a tin of custard with fresh peaches for dessert. Nigella eat your heart out!

Fillet of fish with scrambled egg.

ooh.. not sure about that combination flushtered, although I do love cold salmon with scrambled eggs. Not sure I could do egg with hot fish though! I can't do egg with mash potato either - but love egg and chips!! I know, I know - you don't have to say it! ::)

For us tonight: For hubby: Homemade beefburger (not mine) poached egg, chips & beans
For me: Homemade beefburger and salad with homegrown baby toms

Margarett - hope you enjoyed lunch, what did you have?

Tuna & sweetcorn is nice on baked pots, or baked beans? or cream cheese with a few chopped spring onions.

Ok,ladies, for lunch I had a lovely fillet of fish in a bubbly batter, with chunky chips , home-made mushy peas and tartar sauce followed by summer fruit sundae. All very nice, but bang goes the diet.
For tea, I've just had a ham and home-grown salad sandwich.
The lunch followed a gynae appt this morning, when I had a cervical polyp removed. Nothing sinister, just routine, but regulars on this forum will know that I always get myself worked up over hospital appts.

I did a chinese stir fry in my new wok/pan thingy.

I stir fried some chicken breast strips, added a big bag of fresh peppers, onions, bean sprouts & carrots. Some mushrooms & bamboo shoots & stirred in a plum & ginger chinese sauce.

It was scrummy - trouble is it has made me extremely thirsty - why does chinese food do that.

Love Cazi xx

Its usually the MSG in Chinese food.

There is a lot of salt in it.....when we have a carry out I spend the rest of the evening drinking water and the night peeing  ;D ;D
